King Lear (the musical) play was staged on the 11th of May 2025 at the Tehran City Theater’s main hall for the first time and received warm ovations right from the beginning which encoureged the groupe to perform the act twice per day on several occasions.

After almost one month of successful performances, the play had to cancele due to the “12 day war” of Iran and Israel. As a consequence the play failed to continue it’s plan at Tehran City Theater.

After taking a compalsory short break, King Lear (the musical) manged to organise the performance in another theater and made the necessary preparations for continuation of its journey.
