On its first appearance on an international stage King Lear (the musical) will be performing by appointment of Carthage lnternational Festival on November 2025 in Tunisia.

Carthage international festival is known as one of the oldest and most credited events in the world of theater in Africa and has been hosting many groups from around the world every year. Selection of King Lear (the musical) act from Iran is an important step towards introduction of Iran’s contemporary art.

King Lear ( the musical) through its fusion of music, its innovative approach to storytelling, and its fresh reinterpretation of Shakespeare’s famous tragedy, has drawn the attention of the festival’s artistic directors. The production team has expressed hope that this participation will pave the way for wider performances and future international collaborations.
